CPQ Specialist

At Thriviti, we help B2B revenue teams get more out of their CPQ systems fast and with low friction. We’re looking for a CPQ Specialist who’s excited to dig into real customer challenges, configure systems that actually work, and keep things running smoothly.

This isn’t a back-office role. You’ll be hands-on with DealHub (and other CPQ platforms), directly shaping the sales, finance, and operations processes that power our clients. Sometimes that means deep solo work in configuration and troubleshooting; other times, it means joining a customer meeting to share your expertise or collaborating with our small, capable team of experts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute assigned tasks related to CPQ configuration, administration, and optimization.
  • Maintain and update CPQ software to meet client requirements, including adding products, modifying pricing models, and improving workflows.
  • Participate in selected customer meetings to provide technical input and updates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, revenue operations, finance, and marketing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve CPQ-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
  • Document configurations, processes, and updates for internal and client reference.
  • Track billable and non-billable hours accurately for project reporting. Billable project work is the primary way Thriviti earns money, so billable hours worked are very important.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of CPQ administration experience (DealHub preferred) or related computer science / engineering degree / certifications.
  • Strong understanding of CPQ systems, pricing models, approval workflows, and product catalog management.
  • Proficiency with CRM integration (Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics preferred). CRM administration certifications are a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently.
  • Knowledge of how to apply AI tools to enhance your work.

Technologies we use

  • CPQ platforms (DealHub preferred).
  • CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics).
  • ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI tools.
  • Google Workspace office suite and project management tools (e.g., Monday.com).
  • Basic database knowledge (SQL, Airtable) is a plus.
  • Remote collaboration tools like Slack, Google Meet, AI meeting notetakers, and more.
