CPQ Consultant

Location: Remote (US-based preferred)
Type: Full-time - W-2 or independent contractor
Compensation: $50-$65/hour ($104,000-$135,200 annualized). W-2 includes benefits.

At Thriviti, we help B2B revenue teams get more out of their CPQ systems - fast and with low friction. We're looking for a CPQ Consultant who can walk into a client conversation, understand the business problem, and deliver a solution.

This is a client-facing consulting role. You'll assess business needs, design configurations, and deliver CPQ solutions across a range of clients and industries. Our primary platform is DealHub, the #1 rated CPQ on G2 six years running. You won't just be handed tasks. You'll own the delivery, with experienced consultants available to support you as you ramp up on DealHub and our delivery approach.

The right person has worked in the revenue operations ecosystem. CRM administration, deal desk, sales operations, quote-to-cash. You understand how sales, finance, and operations intersect around the quoting process. You don't need to know DealHub yet, but you do need to pick things up quickly. You'll be delivering real solutions to real clients, and we'll make sure you're ready.

What You'll Do

Client Engagement
Run client calls to gather requirements, assess business needs, and present solutions.

CPQ Delivery
Configure and deliver CPQ solutions - primarily DealHub - including product catalogs, pricing models, approval workflows, and output documents.

Troubleshooting
Troubleshoot and resolve CPQ-related issues with minimal disruption to client operations.

Collaboration
Collaborate with our team to refine delivery approaches, share knowledge, and improve how we work.

Documentation
Document configurations, processes, and decisions for internal and client reference.

Time Management
Manage your own time across multiple client engagements, tracking billable hours accurately. Billable project work is how Thriviti earns - your utilization matters.

What You Bring

Experience
3+ years in CPQ administration, CRM administration, revenue operations, deal desk, or sales systems.

Quote-to-Cash Fluency
Strong understanding of quote-to-cash processes and how sales, finance, and operations interact around quoting and pricing.

CRM Proficiency
Proficiency with CRM platforms - Salesforce, HubSpot, or Dynamics. CRM certifications are a plus.

Client Confidence
The confidence to run a client call, ask the right questions, and push back when something doesn't make sense.

Independence
The ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously and work independently without constant oversight.

AI Fluency
Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) and a habit of using them to work faster and smarter.

Nice to Have

  • DealHub - Experience as an admin or power user.
  • Integration Platforms - Experience with PipeDream, Zapier, or similar.
  • Database Knowledge - Basic SQL or Airtable experience.
  • Certifications - Salesforce or HubSpot certifications.

You'll ramp up on DealHub with direct support from our most experienced consultants. Over time, you'll build deep expertise across a variety of client environments - different industries, pricing models, and tech stacks. This isn't a role where you do the same thing every day. You'll grow into a trusted advisor for our clients and a core part of how Thriviti delivers.
